How to get the most from Baba

Short guides for the things people ask about most. Each takes less than a minute.

Change the language

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Language.
  3. Choose Українська or English. The whole app changes at once.

Make the text larger

  1. Open Settings, then Accessibility.
  2. Move the Text Size slider to the right.
  3. Add Line Spacing or turn on Increase Contrast if it helps.

Choose the Old or New Calendar

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Under Faith, choose Julian (Old) or Revised Julian (New).
  3. Feasts, fasts and readings update straight away.

Choose your notifications

  1. Open Settings, then Notifications.
  2. Turn on only the types you want: breaking news, daily digest, feast days, live services.
  3. Set quiet hours so Baba stays silent at night.

Find a parish nearby

  1. Open Hromada.
  2. Allow your location, or type a ZIP or postal code.
  3. Tap a place for directions, its phone number or website.

Fall asleep to the radio

  1. Open Radio and tap a station.
  2. Open the player and tap the sleep timer.
  3. Choose 15 to 90 minutes.
